–Message Box Errors
“Error”, “No Type was selected”
– This error is displayed when a user tries to update/delete an assignment type when nothing is selected.
– First select an assignment type to modify or remove it.

“Error”,”You can only edit this type.”
– This error is displayed when the user tries to edit the default assignment type.
– This error is necessary because every assignment must be of some type if it isn’t it’s nothing.
– To avoid this error try to edit the default type rather than deleting it.

“Error”,”This trial is limited to a maximum of 5 assignments. \n Please upgrade.”
– This error is displayed when the trial version has exceeded it’s maximum assignment limit.
– The trial version is limited to a maximum of 5 concurrent assignments.
– To bypass this error you will need to either upgrade to the full version or Only use 5 assignments simultaneously.

“Error”, “The assignment could not be syncronized with your calendar because you have not selected a calendar.\n\n Please select a calendar in the settings. \n\n Although the assignment was not added to the calendar it was still added to the application.”
– This error is displayed because Sync with calendar is enabled and no calendar was selected.
– To resolve this error on the first screen of the application go to the menu -> Settings and select a calendar.
– Hit update and try to add the assignment again.
– Tip
– Because the assignment is still added, you can just select the calendar and go back to the assignment you added and go edit and update it
– Doing this will insert the assignment to the calendar.

— Field Specific Errors

“You must provide an assignment.”
– This error is displayed when you try to add an assignment without a name.
– An assignment type is used as a prefix for assignments and the Assignment textbox is used for the suffix.
– So if you have an assignment type “Test” and put “1” in the Assignment textbox the assignment will display as Test 1
– This is advantagious in the sense that there is a lot less replication and differentiation between assignments at the application level.
– An “Upcomming Tests” view might be added soon and this would be a terrific example of how the types could be used at the application level.

“Invalid amount”
– This error is displayed when the value entered for an assignments point value is not a valid decimal.
– This error is also displayed when the value entered for an assignment type’s point value is not a valid decimal.
– To not get this error enter a valid decimal (e.g. 25;25.5;10.05 [Examples separated by ;]).
